Wake County, including Apex, Cary, Fuquay Varina, Holly Springs, Morrisville and Raleigh, offers a county-wide (rather than city-based) educational system and excellent online resources for learning more about each school.
Wake County also offers a variety of schooling options, including: Traditional Calendar schools on an August-June school schedule; Year Round schools on a 9-week on, 3-week off school schedule; and Magnet schools, Charter and Private schools for those seeking a specific education experience. There are also active Home Schooling networks available.
